PERMANENT MAKEUP SERVICES
COSMETIC SERVICES
Beautiful, safe, long-lasting results.
Our permanent makeup services, also known as Intradermal Pigmentation, are performed by Laura Beatty in our spa facility. The process of permanent makeup is a revolutionary method of applying micro insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. This state-of-the-art technique is medically proven and specifically designed to produce beautiful, safe, long-lasting results.
Intradermal Pigmentation/Permanent Makeup is used for various cosmetic enhancements such as permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and/or lip liner/color.
Brows
NANO BROWS
Nano Brows look like natural hair and are the best option for the most natural-looking brows. It's incredibly important to understand the difference between Microblading and Nano Brows. Microblading (or simply “blading”) uses a tool to manually cut slices to implant pigment in the skin.
The Nano Brow technique uses a single needle and a tattoo machine to poke the skin, rather than cut the skin. Think of your skin like fabric. You can poke a hole in your shirt (like wearing a pin or a name tag), and your shirt is fine. But if you take a blade and cut a hole in your shirt, you just ruined your shirt!
Due to the cutting and scarring it causes, the often poor healed results, and very poor long-term results, I would never recommend Microblading.
POWDER BROWS
This style of brow is just like it sounds, it’s the traditional “permanent makeup” look that mimics the appearance of brows completely filled in with powder makeup.
Eyeliner
Does it hurt?
There is a level of mild discomfort associated with this procedure. While a topical numbing agent is used, the eyelid is the thinnest skin on the body, and very sensitive. I do my best to keep my clients comfortable throughout the procedure. While everyone has a different pain tolerance, I have not had any clients unable to finish the application, and most are surprised at how little discomfort they experienced!
Who cannot have Permanent Eyeliner?
You are not a candidate for Permanent Eyeliner if you are:
Under 18, pregnant or nursing, currently undergoing or have undergone chemotherapy in the last 6 months, have Glaucoma or any other eye disorder, autoimmune disorders that inhibit proper healing, bleeding disorders or on prescription blood thinner medication. You must not use lash growth serums 90 days before or after your permanent eyeliner procedure and also cannot wear contacts for 3-5 days following the treatment,
How long does it last?
The Lash Enhancement results last longer than other permanent makeup procedures since the skin on eyelids is much thinner. Permanent eyeliner results can last for 12-24 months to several years, depending on skin type, health, and lifestyle. The pigment will fade over time, and touchups are recommended to keep eyeliner looking fresh every 2-3 years.
What do I need to do to prepare for a Lash Enhancement?
If you use lash growing serums (Latisse, etc) you must discontinue use for a minimum of 6 months. This is important as these products may cause migration of the pigment. Lash extensions must be removed at least 7 days prior to the procedure. No contacts are to be worn during the procedure, and for 72 hours following the procedure.
